Berkowitz Development Group has historically
looked to unrelated third parties to join in the development
of our retail shopping centers and office buildings.
BDG brings to this union its knowledge and
ability to develop, construct, lease and manage centers, while
looking to outside parties for equity and/or land contributions.
Currently, the majority of our developments are joint venture
partnerships. In an effort to further the growth of our real
estate portfolio, BDG is aggressively seeking new development
opportunities with joint venture partners who have the ability
to bring to the table a compliment to BDG's expertise.

To this extent, BDG is currently working with
Alan and Robert Potamkin and the City of Miami Beach to develop a
state-of-the-art, 175,000 square foot vertical shopping center and
943 space parking garage on the corner of Alton Road and Fifth Street
in South Beach. This is
just one example of BDG's ability to assemble the best joint venture
team possible for what we consider will be an extremely successful
shopping center development.
In addition to new development, BDG is interested in acquiring existing
centers with third parties to renovate, restructure and to re-lease
outdated and/or vacant shopping centers as
a joint development opportunity.
